I have a following (Season Finale Cliffhanger Edition)

I have been working on a couple of film projects while I out here is South Asia. This past week I went to film at a mosque during Ramadan. You don't even want to know how many hoops I had to jump through to be able to do this. I even got dropped off at the wrong mosque and was in a cemetery owned by the mosque trust board. When I arrived there was just so many people in one area, there literally was several thousands of people.

At this mosque is a school which many of the children when to and my escort was a student as well. After that I was approached by hundreds of children trying to hit the camera, get into shots and just being distractions. I was even blames for being a distraction for the children. And so I moved from place to place to get some good footage (and also avoid the children) I found that I was building a following. I don't know what it was but after filming the service, I was circled by a large group of men asking me what I was doing over there. I told them about my cultural exchange film why I was there and they started shared what they believe in freely.

One man in particular was very persistent in his expressing his belief to me on camera. It was a contradiction in his statement that I wanted him to clarify. But he really didn't justify this belief. In that instance I was able to challenge him and the group from a statement that want made. You can't tell a go 14/15 at the free throw line and be considered perfect. Nor can you tell a lie and have the same thing be said about you. It's clear cut. That discussion was pretty awesome because at the end I got so many phone numbers of people wanting to talk or having me talk to there leaders who know more about their faith so that was awesome.

They're so many people who know part of the story but they don't know the whole story. They just can't grasp the full picture. It's like a TV series season finale cliffhanger. I lead you wanting more and all you can do is try and feel in the blank as to what happens next...
